Users of generic
drugs are on a rise nowadays as they are as effective as compared
to brand-name drugs for treating your ailments. But the process
is going to halt for the moment as the Food
and Drug Administration (FDA) is now disapproving and blocking
new medicines from approval that would have easily received approval
two years ago.
It may seem like a normal, inevitable reaction on
the part of the FDA to reject medicines of drug companies who perform
poor research. However, the FDA itself first set into motion the
problems it's now rectifying today. A simple change of policies
and protocol a few years back allowed for these unnerving crises
to arise. But this decision is not going to have any impact on generic
drugs as they have become the most accepted source for prescription
and treatment.
