Contemplating their immense worth in present fast-paced life, many think that they should be well embraced with in the health insurance plans. According to an online survey conducted within the United States by Harris Interactive(R) amid 20 and 22 march 2007, over a national cross-section comprising 2,402 adults aged 18 years and above, many U.S. adults back the inclusion of medicinal treatments and preparations including birth control pills, in-vitro fertilization, Erectile dysfunction pills, and weight loss pills, which affect the quality of life, under the health insurance plans. The online survey was executed for The Wall Street Journal Online's Health Industry Edition.

And treatments utilized for the enrichment of personality such as plastic surgery, wrinkles minimizing medicines, hormonal preparations uplifting height in children, received diminished support for the backing. It was only birth control pills and allied procedures who received the majority of support among all. Nearly 88 percent people supported the approval of birth control pills and associated processes.
